| Other Groups and Organizations |
Many organizations across the US and around the world are conducting activities and programs that could be construed as redundant with what T.E.A.M. does. But in fact that is not the case because each one of them has a specific function or role that addresses one particular issue. For instance:
- CAMERA focuses on the many misleading articles and reports published or aired by the media, and it issues corrections in each case.
- Blue Star PR is a unique Public Relations company based in the Bay Area which publishes balanced visual material on Israel and conducts public relations campaigns in several US cities.
- AIPAC is a lobby like thousands of other lobbies in Washington, D.C., whose job it is to make sure that US legislators are always provided with factual information regarding US policies towards Israel.
- MEMRI does a great job of monitoring Arab and Palestinian media, pointing out discrepancies between what is said in English and what is said in Arabic.
- StandWithUs provides many resource material to help students on many US campuses fight back against the Palestinian propaganda waged by Muslim Students Association chapters.
There is no need for T.E.A.M. to be redundant with any of these organizations. We consider them as excellent sources of reliable and useful material, and work with them in that capacity. Our focus is one that has not been addressed in a systematic fashion, i.e. the need for grassroots speakers to present to the public at large in all communities a more balanced view of the Middle East conflict than the one most people are used to receiving in the mainstream media. |
